Hello all! I’m very new to the blogging thing but I’m excited to give it a try! I’m a sophmore college student just making my way through the world. I attend Berea College in eastern Kentucky, just at the foot of the Appalachian mountains. I’m originally from near Louisville KY so this life in the mountains is really new to me! I plan on double majoring in art history and secondary education and, one day, becoming an arts and humanities teacher.
I have many different hobbies, but the main three would be playing my cello (Phyllis) and my bass (Count Bassi), riding and working with horses and doing artsy things mostly painting, sketching and scrap booking.
There are lots and lots of things I love but here is a broad version: family, friends, horses, art, nature, the outdoors, all animals, coffee, breakfast, pomegranates and chocolate.
I find inspiration in the smallest of things and always wish to share them, but I can’t seem to find any easier way than writing. In my blog, I hope to encourage others to find inspiration in the little things in life. My plan is to blog every other day or so about something that really stuck with me all day. Sometimes, I will put a picture of the source of my wonderings or I’ll simply write about it. I’m hoping that I can put my love for writing to good use here and share what I have to say.
